About
Lisa Rodeheaver, LCSW
Owner/Founder/Therapist
Like most therapists, I believe in helping people understand themselves. Through understanding yourself and your past, you understand the things that are 'triggers' - the things that make you react a certain way. Sometimes these reactions are anger, anxiety, apprehension, depression, avoidance, etc. The more you understand these reactions, the better you are able to react differently and in a healthier way.
Because there's more to your story;
There's hope for something to change. Even superheros have human emotions; and they talk to other people to help them. They don't do it alone. You don't have to either.
It's sometimes hard for us to explain our reactions to others and they often get an idea of our behavior that isn't accurate. This leaves us feeling misunderstood and undervalued. Therapy can help give you a new direction.
